To schedule a route, it’s very useful to create orders by zones
(Prior to this procedure, it is necessary to have created a zone with its respective customers and have an active delivery)
- The first step is to go to the Deliveries module and then to the Delivery List tab. In the active Delivery, we will go to the Action button located on the right. Once there, we click on the Create orders by zones option:
2. Once in this window, we will choose the Zone in which we want to create the Orders, and then click on Generate Orders:
(The selected zone will only show active customers in that zone)
This will take us to the Deliveries module where we can see that a series of blank Orders have been created for the customers in the zone, which we can fill in depending on the customer’s needs. You can sort your orders by clicking the top button and then dragging and dropping the orders in the table to the desired position. Then save the changes.
Another method to create your Orders by Zones is when creating the Delivery, you will follow this path: Deliveries>Delivery List>Add
In this window, you simply choose the zone you want your delivery person to handle, click on Save, and that’s it! You will have generated a series of orders by zone.
