How to create an order?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to create orders in Yaku.app.

  1. To do this, locate the “Orders” module on the left side of your screen. There you will be redirected to the list of all ongoing orders. To create a new order, press the “Add” button.

2. The order creation form will open, then in the “Customer Details” section add the following information:

  • Customer: select from the dropdown list the customer who has placed this order or purchase order.
  • Address and reference: The address and reference fields will be automatically filled with the data previously loaded into the system for that customer.

*Note: If the customer is new, you can add them from the button located to the right of the “Customer” field, and then complete the customer creation form.

  • Delivery date: In the delivery date field, you can select the date on which the order should be delivered to the customer. By default, the current date and time are shown.

3. Next, go to the “Delivery Assignment” section, select from the dropdown list one of the different delivery options or available delivery personnel. These options are:

Plant: This is when the order will be picked up directly by the customer at the plant.

– Delivery in progress: this option refers to when an order is assigned to a delivery person who is on the road making deliveries and the available stock is what they have loaded in the vehicle.

– Pending delivery: this option is for when the order is assigned to a delivery person who has not yet left the plant with the vehicle, but already has a load or route assigned for the day.

4. To add the products that your customer ordered, go to the “Order Products” section, then press the “+Add products to order” button.

4.1 A new window will appear where you will see the entire list of your products, including new ones, refills, packages, etc. To select those that correspond to the order, press the “Add to sale” button.

4.2 Once you have selected the product, you must indicate the quantity of each of these. For example, if it’s two water containers, then we’ll put the number 2 in the quantity box.

5. If everything is in order, click on “Save”. You will receive a notification confirming that the order was generated correctly.

*NOTE: For the delivery person.

If you are the delivery person, when an order is assigned to you, you will receive a notification on your mobile thanks to the Yaku.app mobile application. From the mobile app, you can process and confirm orders, verifying again details such as products, quantities, and payment methods. Once confirmed, the order will be marked as delivered.
